Hello, I’m Fiona 

Thank you for checking out my profile.  I am passionate about the benefits of mediation and hope that you read further. 

I am an experienced and independent mediation practitioner, a member of Strathclyde University Mediation Clinic and a mediator with the Scottish Courts System. My extensive mediation experience compliments my earlier career as a strategic HR Business Partner and Commercial Operational Leader. My mediation style is kind, empathetic and results focussed.   

I am based in Edinburgh and work with individuals, and groups, anywhere across Scotland, or beyond.  I am experienced in face to face, telephone and online mediations. 

In my capacity as a part time HR consultant, with the Employment Law Team at Anderson Strathern LLP, I work mainly with client Workplace Mediations. A Board Member of the Scottish Mediation’s Committee for Excellence I am also a member of Charity Leadership Scotland and am the current Chair of Edinburgh College Development Trust.  I support inclusivity and sustainability; I am an accredited Neurodiversity Aware Mediator, an experienced school peer to peer Mediator Trainer, and I promote the use of the Mediators Green Pledge.

I get balance and energy to support other people by walking ‘Izzy’, the family cocker spaniel.
